ReflexPlumbing & Gas

Photo slothero16/9

The van parked in a suburban street, Jacob beside it in work gear, mid-morning or late afternoon light. Shoot landscape, from slightly low, with the signage readable and a recognisable Perth street behind — brick and tile, a verge tree, a Colorbond fence. Leave empty space on the left third: the headline sits there.

Happening right now?

Burst pipe, smell of gas, or sewage backing up — turn the mains or the gas off at the meter first, then call. Don't wait on a form.

What we do

Two tickets, one trade.

Gas fitting needs a separate authorisation in WA, which is why so many plumbers stop at the appliance. We don't, so the job finishes on the first visit.

A gas cooktop being connected, or the manometer on a gas line during a pressure test. Hands in frame, gauge readable. The test gauge is the shot — it is the visible proof of the thing most customers cannot verify themselves.

Gas fitting

Gas leaks, cooktops, bayonets, hot water and compliance certificates — carried out by a licensed gas fitter.

A new hot water unit installed on an external wall — the finished job, pipework neat, tempering valve visible. A before-and-after pair of the same wall is even better if the old unit is still there.

Specialty

Hot water systems

No hot water, not enough of it, or a unit at the end of its life — repair where it is worth it, replace where it is not.

The drain camera screen showing the inside of a pipe, or the jetter hose feeding into an inspection opening. Screen-in-frame shots work because they show the diagnosis, not just the mess.

Blocked drains

Slow sinks, gurgling toilets and overflowing gullies — cleared, then diagnosed so it stays cleared.

A bathroom rough-in — studs open, pipework set out, everything square and labelled. This is the photograph that wins renovation work, because it is the part the customer never sees once the wall goes on.

Acoustic or thermal leak-detection gear in use against a wall or slab, or the small neat access cut that found the leak. The point of the picture is that the wall did not have to come down.

Burst pipes stopped and repaired, and hidden leaks found before they become a bill or a rotted wall.

A burst or failed fitting at the moment of the repair, or the water meter with the tap being shut off. Shot on the phone at the job — urgency photographs badly when it is staged later.

Rainwater tanks, soakwells, filters, backflow devices, strange fittings on old houses. Describe it and we'll tell you straight away whether it's us you need.

Jacob, portrait orientation, waist up, holding a tool he actually uses or standing at the open van doors. Looking at the camera. Shade or overcast light — not direct sun. This is the single most valuable photograph on the site: it is the one that makes a stranger comfortable letting him into their house.

Who turns up

New business. Old-fashioned about the basics.

We're not going to claim thirty years and two thousand reviews. What we have is 28 reviews across Google and Facebook and not one unhappy customer among them — earned by turning up when we said, quoting before we start, and explaining what actually went wrong.

01

Local, genuinely

Based in Rossmoyne. When we say we'll be there in the morning, we're driving across a few suburbs, not across Perth.

02

Licensed for gas

Plumbing and gas fitting under one business, so a job that turns out to involve both doesn't need a second trade and a second wait.

03

Priced before we start

You approve a number, not a running clock. If the job changes once it's open, we stop and tell you.

04

The cause, not just the fix

A drain cleared without finding out why it blocked is a repeat visit you'll pay for twice.

Recent work

The finished job, not a stock photo.

Every photograph on this site is our own work in these suburbs. If it isn't ours, it isn't here.

Where we work

The southern suburbs, properly covered.

We'd rather do a tight area well than claim all of Perth and arrive in two days.

Get in touch

Tell us what's going on.

The more detail you give us, the more useful the first answer is — and the fewer visits it takes.

Which suburbs does Reflex cover?

We're based in Rossmoyne and work across the City of Canning and the suburbs around it — Rossmoyne, Shelley, Ferndale, Willetton, Canning Vale, Leeming, Bull Creek, Parkwood, Lynwood, Thornlie, Cannington and further out depending on the job. Use the service area checker to confirm your suburb.

Do you do gas work as well as plumbing?

Yes, and that matters more than it sounds. Gas fitting requires a separate authorisation in Western Australia, so plenty of plumbers cannot legally touch a cooktop or a gas hot water unit. Holding both means one trade, one visit, one invoice.

How quickly can you get here?

For anything urgent — burst pipes, gas leaks, sewage backing up — call rather than fill in a form, and we'll tell you honestly when we can be there rather than guess to win the job.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

We'll tell you the fee before we leave, not after the work is done. No surprises on the invoice is the entire point.

We use your details to respond to this enquiry and nothing else.
